Training objectives
- Training on safety in the workplace is a discipline required by law for the protection of students who have in their training workshop activities.
The main objective of the course is to provide students with the essential information regarding safety in the workplace, both generally and in relation to specific risks, before tackling practical workshop activities.
The student acquires knowledge:
- main regulations regarding safety in the workplace
- roles and responsibilities of those involved in security
- risk factors and the compilation of the DVR
- provision of safety and DPI
- Health surveillance
- Emergency management
- Workplace's risks
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
The student will be able to participate in educational laboratory activities implementing major behavior required by safety regulations and good practices in use. Prerequisites
- Basic civics knowledge.
Course programme
- -FIRST STEP (About 4 hours e-learning) the student will address the issues of general education on safety in the workplace, as well as provided by law: Article 37, paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree 81/08 and Agreements State Regions 12/2011 and 07/2016
In particular it will know in detail the concepts of risk, harm, prevention and its behavior to adopt in order to protect their safety and health and that of their colleagues.
-SECOND STEP (About 4 hours e-learning) the student will address the special risks to laboratory activities under the training course: for example chemical risk, VDT risk, work equipment, waste management etc.
-THIRD STEP, will be activated with face-to-face seminars, aimed at obtaining a higher level risk certificate (MEDIUM or HIGH), depending on the needs related to laboratories or internships Didactic methods
- The course consists of 8 hours of e-learning training and and subsequent 4 or 8 hours of frontal lessons.
The learning platform "UNIFESICURA" is according to State-Regions Agreement of 2011, 2017 and s.m.i.
Lectures include the use of power point, movies, and other teaching aids Learning assessment procedures
- Online test (not in classroom) with multiple choice questions.
Student will receives immediate communication of the outcome and must download by him/her self the two certificates available: "Formazione generale lavoratori" and "Formazione specifica rischio basso".
If the exam has been passed, the result will be automatically registred on monthly base.
For the MEDIUM and HIGH risk integrations, the verification methods will be communicated during the seminars. Reference texts
