Didactic methods

The course consists of alternating lectures on theoretical and practical.
• Lectures on the topics of the course program. During the same it is provide a continuous interaction with the students, offering reference to the content of other courses, particularly physics 1, mathematics and geophysics.
• Tutorials on the model of the written exams. The exercises are intended not only to provide the solution of the problems but also to teach a method for solving physics problems.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam takes place when the student passes (with vote greater than 18/30) one of the following methods of verify:
• two in itinere tests, which are generally fixed in the middle and at the end of the course. The first test refers to topics relating to electric forces, electric fields, electric potentials and capabilities. The second test focuses on topics related to currents, forces and magnetic fields. The final score is the average of the two scores, which in any case must be both greater than 18/30.
• a written examination focused on the entire program of the course.
During the written tests you can refer to a form on an A4 sheet and use the calculator. It is not allowed to consult texts, personal notes or using your PC or smartphone. The oral exam is optional.
