Training objectives
- The aim of the coourse is to provide knowledge and practice in software for the teaching of mathematics in secondary schools of first and second levels (middle and high schools).
At the end of the course the student should be able to analyse the context and methods of their use. Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of differential and integral calculus, algebra and geometry.
Course programme
- Software of dynamic geometry (Cabri II Plus, Cabri 3D, Geogebra) (32 hours).
Software for the teaching/learning of algebra and calculus (Derive) (10 hours).
Software for introduction to computational thinking (Scratch) (6 hours) Didactic methods
- Lectures. Seminars. Laboratory classes.
Learning assessment procedures
- Oral exam. Computer test.
The course exam is devoted to test the level of achievement of the previously indicated training objectives. The oral examination and computer test take place simultaneously and have the purpose to verify the ability in the use of the teaching software in different contexts.
To pass the exam the student must obtain a minimum score of 18 out of 30. Reference texts
