Weather station and webcam
In 2009 a weather station Davis Vantage Pro II and a webcam Mobotix have been installed in Ferrara Botanic Garden.
The station consists of barometer, thermometer, hygrometer, pluviometer, anemometer and solar radiation sensor. The station is connected to a data logger which records climatic data real-time and transmits them on the web every 5 minutes. Climatic data are used for local environmental monitoring, statistics, educational and research. The weather station respects the rules laid down by World Meteorological Organization.
The webcam shows a real-time small area inside the Botanic Garden. Showing change of seasons through changes in vegetation is the purpose of the webcam.
Display weather station data and graphics (data every 5 minutes)
