The doctoral courses in Ferrara
The three-year research doctorate represents the highest level of university education. The teaching activity, including any periods of study abroad, is aimed at acquiring the skills necessary to carry out highly qualified research activities and ends with the preparation of a final thesis. Each student has a supervisor. Admission is reserved for holders of the “Laurea ante riforma” or the “Laurea Specialistica/Laurea Magistrale" or an equivalent foreign degree.
Students are admitted to doctoral courses after a selection established by a call for applications.
